Talk at SCU
It looks like I'll be giving a seasteading talk at
Santa Clara University on October 27th as part of the
Civil Society Institute lecture series. The head of the CSI, Dan Klein, spoke at FreedomFest, and he is very interested in libertarian nation ventures. I attended one of their talks earlier this year by Spencer MacCallum, called Freedom Islands, which discussed several specific lib-nation ventures and the general ideas behind them. (
Jeff Chan wrote a report on the talk). The talk will overlap a lot with the FF talk, but modified for an audience of college students rather than libertarians. Its open to the public, so feel free to come.
